On campus, and throughout life, this is one of the biggest questions of all. Home may be a place, a group of people, an activity, a state of mind. It could be in the dorm, in the sorority, or in a corner of the library. We might say to a friend, "I'm going home home this weekend," meaning—I'm going to visit my family.

Home can be many things. But, as one twentieth century philosopher put it, as difficult as home may be to define, it is not good to have no home.
